Most B2B companies have relied on thick print catalogs, armies of sales reps, and well-staffed call centers to generate and manage customer purchases. But B2B customers have moved their research and transaction activities online and on mobile. As a result, B2B companies must reevaluate critical customer engagement strategies and core investments in commerce infrastructure, as noted in the Forrester Research, “Digital Is Busy Transforming B2B” report from August 2015. One of those strategy considerations includes implementing your eCommerce platform on Salesforce.
Guest speaker Andy Hoar, Principal Analyst at Forrester Research, will join Lori Jarchow, Director of IT Business Solutions at Ecolab, and Ray Grady, Executive Vice President at CloudCraze, to discuss how B2B companies can thrive in an era of transformed customer expectations and provide real-world examples from Ecolab’s eCommerce implementation on Salesforce. The webinar will be moderated by Internet Retailer’s Managing Editor of B2B eCommerce, Paul Demery.
In this webinar you’ll learn:
- Why you should use a CRM-based eCommerce platform instead of legacy ERP-based platforms
- How to deploy eCommerce on Salesforce quickly and with an agile methodology, while limiting disruptions to existing processes and applications
- How to eliminate out-of-date ordering capabilities, reduce order processing costs and increase order size, speed, accuracy and compliance
